KAIZEN
Kaizen is a continuous methodology that involves every level of the organization (from upper management to the front-line workers, inclusive of all levels in between) to drive multiple small improvements on a continuous basis that in the end results in innovations that improve:
| Productivity, | |
| Safety, | |
| Effectiveness, | |
| and, the Bottom-line |
while reducing waste and maintaining stable levels of variability.
Kaizen was developed in Japan post World War II. It means Continuous Improvement; and is derived from the Japanese Words Kai and Zen:
| Kai means school. | |
| Zen means wisdom. |
Its purpose is to drive corporate-wide breakthrough thinking as a culture!
